Meet David West who works for Karens Driving School in Romford
David West has been a driving instructor for ten years in the Romford area and has worked as part of Karens School of motoring for five years.
In this time David has taught people of all abilities to drive, from banned drivers who needed to retrain in order to regain their licence, to students with learning difficulties who needed extra time and consideration and those lucky few, the "natural" drivers who have needed very few lessons.
However David's speciality is those learner drivers who, for whatever reason, are nervous or anxious about driving. He has helped people to pass who, when first sitting behind the wheel, began to violently tremble and in one case someone who as a child was in a vehicle involved in a fatal collision.
Over the years he has taught different sexes, races and ages, from people just turned seventeen through to pensioners looking for independence. David always encourages a relaxed and friendly learning environment and some of his students have even become friends.
David's interests include Longbow archery, music, reading and American football.
