Karen's School of Motoring has been established since 1996, growing rapidly through the years to become one of the largest independent driving schools in Essex.
Although the driving school offers lessons throughout Essex, one of its main advantages is that it is built on a network of highly experienced male and female driving instructors who can offer driving lessons in your local area, from, Basildon and Southend-on-Sea to Grays and Romford.
We have found that this approach of driving lessons, offering regional experience goes a long way when learning to drive. An instructor who knows your locality can make more informed decisions throughout your driving tuition, benefiting not only your ability to pass your driving test but also for driving through the local area after you've passed.
Our instructors are encouraged to work together as a team and to become involved in all areas of driver training for the benefit of our pupils and specialises in all aspects of driver training. We are, known for our high standard of driver training & successful pass rates. Our long term aim is not only to teach people to drive, but to "save lives on our roads", i.e. Safe Driving for Life.
Each year, our instructors get involved in fund raising for charity, for the benefit of the people in our communities.
The driving instructors are enthusiastic about continuing their own self development and are regularly looking to build upon their skills, either through the in house or external training, such as St. Johns First Aid courses.
Although Karen's School of Motoring is best known for teaching people to drive, our Instructor Training team is one of the largest providers of instructor training, recommended by the Driving Standards Agency and approved by ORDIT.
